Extollogy is the dispositional discipline of Astronism dealing with extolled persons known as extollants recognised by the Astronist Institution as having achieved a level of insight or having displayed a level of creativity and ambition beyond others.

Extollogy is principally the study of the process of extollation and all that is involved in the process as well as the study of the lives of those whom have been extolled. There exists two branches of extollogy, the first being celestology which specifically deals with the process of celestification and the lives of those individuals adorned with title of being celestants.

The second branch being known as cometanic extollogy which involves the study of those individuals other than Cometan himself whom have succeeded the process of cometanisation and have attained cometanhood.
