The Astronist Institution has reported a proportionally high adherence from farmers and other agricultural workers to Astronism than many other professions.

The relationship between agriculture and astronomical religions is prehistoric and it is now well known, after the development of the history of the Astronic tradition, that agriculture played an inextricable role in  the development of astronomical religions beyond simplistic observation. It is for this reason that an entire age in the history of the Astronic tradition (the Agricultural Age) was devoted to the intertwinement between astronomy, religious beliefs, and agricultural lifestyle. This bond remains very deeply enshrined and is something that the Astronist Institution continues to reference in its publications regarding the heritage of Astronism.

With the development and dissemination of Astronism as a modern astronomical religion, the Astronist Institution has reported one of the highest proportionalities of farmers and other agricultural workers as identifying with Astronist beliefs and ideals than many other professions. There are a variety of reasons for this higher proportionality, one of which could include the rural life of farmers and agriculturalists and their most frequent exposition to an astral night, particularly in contrast to people living in urban centres whose astral exposition would generally be less frequent.
